Access to healthcare in remote mountain communities like Stanley can be challenging. While the Stanley Ambulance Service has received sufficient funding, the Salmon River Clinic still requires additional resources to complete its interior renovations and fully equip its medical services. Having a well-functioning medical facility is critical for residents and visitors, especially given the town’s distance from larger medical centers.
